Mendes Braga, Ana Gabriela
Ana Gabriela M. Braga completed post-doctoral studies at the Center for Anthropology Research Network (CRIA - UMinho) and at the University in Brasilia (UnB). Master and PhD in Criminal Law and Criminology from the University of São Paulo (USP) with a period at the Department of Anthropology of the Universitat de Barcelona (UB). Professor of Law at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences of UNESP-Franca. Coordinator of NEPAL (Center for Studies and Research in Imprisonment and Freedoms) and the C.E.L.
Extension project (Prison, Expression and Freedom). Former director, and currently associate, of the Empirical Research Network in Law (REED). She has experience in empirical research in law, criminal justice system and gender studies; as well as in the coordination of research teams and extension projects.
