Sara Arapiles is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Faculty of Law of Lund University, where she works on the ERC-funded project ‘Refugee Finance: Histories, Frameworks and Practices (REF-FIN)’. She holds a PhD and a MA in Socio-Legal Studies from the University of Nottingham, a LLM in International and European Law from the Institute for European Studies (IES) of the Free University of Brussels, and a Law Degree from the University of Salamanca.

Ignacia Perugorría is a lecturer and researcher in the Department of Sociology and Social Work at the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU). She received her Ph.D. in Social Sciences from UPV/EHU, her MA in Sociology from Rutgers University (USA), and her BA in Sociology from the University of Buenos Aires (Argentina), all three with the highest honors bestowed by these universities.
