Biografía:

I have a French Master 2 in Territorial Collectivities with Toulouse University and a British Master’s from Goldsmiths University of London.
As a young student, I wanted to be a journalist. I’ve done internships in local, national and alternative newspapers in Toulouse and Paris. I worked in Lebanon and Hungary. In Lebanon, I wrote about public services (bin collection), taxes, and executive services (police, the army (blue casks from the UN) and prisons). In Hungary, I was mainly a cultural journalist, attending concerts and art exhibitions which all had an social or political message. I also wrote a paper on Victor Orban’s decision to cancel Gender studies Master’s (amongst other University modules) and interviewed dancers and lecturers on that matter.
As my studies developed, I realised that the investigative journalism that I dreamt of was in decline.
I massively enjoy studying, learning and creating. I have extended my study to their fullest, aiming to become a successful academic.
I am looking to strenghten all relevant skills. I have attended conferences from the RCSL, LSA and SLS (Lisbon, London-Derry, Lund) and organised a couple in Bangor (Treesense conference, CAHB for postgrads). I am now the amdinistrator for the RCSL 2024 conference in Bangor.
I am employed on a 0.6 FTE (fractioned teaching & scholarship) contract at Bangor university. I strive through interdisciplinary research and teaching. I have tried to create a Music Copyright module, a hybrid class, including Music and Law students (mainly) on history, case analysis, critical and creative thinking of current legal terminologies.
I am constantly trying to innovate in Bangor. I wrote and organised a mock trial for my EU Law student and vary my assessment methods to trial student’s engagement and learning, as well as my own efficiency. I have tried (and failed for now) to develop a music copyright module available to law and music students. However, I am now succesfully developing a double LLM Bangor-Toulouse with Professor Alexandra Mendoza.

Area(s) of expertise: Copyright, Cultural heritage, human rights, EU law
