Tomas Ledvinka, who has been doing research at the Institute library through a Residence grant, gave a presentation on one of his main research topics: "Law based on reciprocity: How can we recognize legal otherness in terms of modernity?". Drawing on both Anthropology and (Foreign) legal systems, he offered an engaging talk, with examples from his own experience as a legal consultant for the Czech Ministry of Justice and as a teacher of Anthropology and Law.
