She holds a master's degree in Sociology and Social Research from the University of Catania. She is currently a PhD candidate with a research project in the Sociology of law entitled "Examining the understanding and application of the best interests of the child in children in conflict with the law. A comparative study between Italy and Northern Ireland". From January to July 2023, she was a PhD scholar visitor at the Queen's University Belfast.

During my visiting experience, I had the opportunity to immerse myself in a stimulating and highly educational environment. The interaction with the Master's students was particularly enriching, providing insights for personal and professional growth. I found a peaceful and conducive atmosphere for study and writing, a crucial element at this stage of my academic journey as I am about to complete my doctoral degree. The staff was exceptionally welcoming and helpful, attentive to any needs, making the experience even more positive and rewarding.
