How to apply for a PhD?
The International Institute of Sociology of Law invites you to an informal discussion on how to apply for a PhD.
The discussion will cover:
- why do a PhD?
- where and how to apply?
- what are the differences between PhD programs in different countries?
- how to write a PhD proposal, including how to apply for funding?
The discussion will be led by Dr Angela Melville, from Flinders University, Australia. Angela has sat on the PhD selection panel for a number of universities, and is an experienced PhD supervisor. The information will cover issues relating to PhD applications generally, and will be relevant to students from any discipline not just sociology or law. Participation in the discussion is entirely free, although we do ask you to register. More information: susana@iisj.es
