During my time at the Institute, I have been working on my PHD thesis: “The Law as a new framework of adults’ protective measures in Belgium”. The IISL has a wide range of books and journals in socio-legal studies in different languages. This variety of resources allowed me to gather materials to further my research project. This made my stay in Oñati an enriching and intellectually stimulating experience to have access to such a wide range of resources. The working environment is one of tranquility and academic inspiration. I have met some great international academics and students. The support of the staff was particularly rewarding and attentive. The two months that I have spent were a particularly profitable step in my research work."
